Components for Suspension and Vibration Control
Rubber-metal parts are widely used in primary and secondary suspension systems, axle assemblies and mechanical linkages. Depending on the application, the product range includes bushings, spherical bearings, rubber blocks, conical elements, suspension components, buffers, mountings and elastic connection elements.
Their defined elastic characteristics allow controlled movement while reducing the transmission of vibration, shocks and structure-borne noise between connected vehicle components.
Project-Specific Design and Replacement Solutions
Rubber-metal parts can be supplied for new rolling stock, scheduled maintenance, overhaul, refurbishment and modernisation projects.
Components can be selected or produced according to an existing part number, technical drawing, dimensions, sample or defined operating requirements. This is particularly useful for older vehicle platforms where original components are no longer readily available or where an existing design needs to be reproduced for continued fleet operation.
Depending on the application, relevant parameters may include static and dynamic stiffness, permitted deflection, load direction, installation space, elastomer properties and environmental conditions.

Railway rubber-metal components are manufactured in Germany under quality management systems certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 22163.
Depending on the technical requirements, product validation can include dimensional inspection, characteristic testing, fatigue assessment and single- or multi-axial dynamic testing to verify performance under representative operating loads.
Products can be supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate in accordance with the agreed project documentation.
